Hybrid search over a knowledge base (2026, own infrastructure)
Built a retrieval stack over a private notes corpus: CouchDB as the source, Qdrant as the vector store, multilingual-e5-small embeddings, BM25 as the lexical half of the hybrid. Result — tens of thousands of semantic chunks indexed, full and incremental reindexing, all inside a single Docker network. Search is exposed through a Telegram bot and an MCP interface; model routing (local and cloud) goes through LiteLLM.

Real-estate photo enhancement pipeline (2026, EvPro)
A PHP 8.4 / Laravel 12 module for batch processing of property photos. The decision to enhance is driven by nine measured frame features (brightness, contrast, shadows, highlights, noise, sharpness and others) collapsed into a single improvement score, with eleven guard checks on top that block publication when quality regresses. A cascade of "local processing → external generative model" draws an explicit line between what is done for free and what is paid for. Time and cost per unit of work were measured (about 25 seconds per frame locally and roughly three dollars for a batch of some sixty frames through the external model), which moved the quality conversation with the business from impressions to money.

Project methodology JD+PARA (2026, open source)
My own system for running technical projects: Johnny.Decimal for numbering, P.A.R.A. for separating projects and resources, MOC for links — with rules that let both a human and AI agents work on the same documentation. What makes it more than an organiser: a question, a decision and a knowledge note are separate entities with mandatory fields. A question must state what changes once it is answered; a decision must list rejected alternatives and the condition for revisiting it; a finding must state what would refute it. That makes a project handover-ready: the next person (or agent) doesn't redo work already done. In use across nine of my own projects: more than two hundred recorded questions and about a hundred and eighty fixed decisions. Starter kit published at github.com/Miniwe/jdpara.
Numeric integrity in a distributed core
Removed rounding errors and data races through exact arithmetic (decimal.js) combined with strict PostgreSQL transaction isolation levels.

Offloading heavy operations to workers
Resource-intensive computation and report generation moved into isolated workers on BullMQ + Redis, protecting API servers from HTTP timeouts under peak load. Retries, idempotency and dead-letter handling included.

Multi-tenant security
End-to-end tenant-aware access on JWT with custom RBAC/ABAC policies — cross-client data leakage is excluded by contract, not by developer diligence.

EvProBaku, Azerbaijan · 06/2026 – present
Backend Developer — media platform for a real-estate listings portal (spec EV-475). Designed and built a modular photo-enhancement pipeline in PHP 8.4/Laravel 12: independent processing steps (white balance, HDR, exposure, CLAHE, contrast, saturation, perspective, denoising, sharpening), a scoring and safety-gate system, and a cascade of "local processing → external generative/upscaling service" with an explicit split between free and paid processing and cost tracking per call. Packaged the deliverable as a single Docker image and moved development-support Python tooling into a separate repository. Delivered against the spec's conformance checklist — 58 of 59 items, independently verified.

Self-directed: AI upskilling and own projects11/2025 – 05/2026
A deliberate gap between staff positions: my own AI infrastructure (LiteLLM as the single routing point, local models on Ollama, Caddy/HAProxy at the edge) and a knowledge-base retrieval contour — details in the cases above. Plus research experiments with code and results published.
